Meet Stephen and Patricia

dsc_0720 We have been married for 19 years and have 3 beautiful daughters. We love Jesus, traveling, music, fancy dinners, ministry and people.  We met in Bellingham, Washington during college when we were both working at Firwood (a Christian youth camp).  We got married in 1991 and then we honeymooned in Vegas (it was cheap at the time and we were poor). Stephen works for Compassion International as the Creative Relationship Director and Patricia leads trips for Compassion and also works in Vancouver, WA for Support for Early Learning and Families.

Patricia does not suck at all math above the 5th grade level. She just thinks she does & gets stressed about it. Don’t let her off the hook, Stephen. I know this from experience with POs and budgets that made pretty good sense. 8)

    Patricia,

I cannot wait to meet you! Anyone who not only wears a balloon headdress, but posts a piccha on the interweb for all to see? I’m crushin’ already.

Thank you for your words of encouragement to your readers, asking them to pray for the Compassion-India team. I fall into the camp of never having seen “this” before…and I’m writing about it even as I comment (popped over here to pick up a picture of you :) ).

To see God’s hand already in the midst of this trip is reassuring; He’s merciful to extend that comfort :) .
