Death has a sting

Kaylin will graduate tonight and walk across the stage to receive her high school diploma.  The school has a special spot reserved for the family for this occasion.

 This is amazing.

Why?  Because at 9:45 am this morning, her 13 year old brother, Quinn, collapsed and died while in his PE class.

My heart goes out to this family who has lost a child.  Colleen, the youngest in the family, has been in Girl scouts with my daughter Grace.  I learned today of the tragic death of Quinn and promised to pray for the family.  Would you mention their names to God today as you read my blog? Death has a sting and we all understand this tragedy.  It’s all I can think about tonight. Nothing else seems to compare to the heartache and sadness that comes with death.

  1. Wow. I am in tears over this right now and I don’t even know them. I will definitely be praying for their family.
