We made it safely to Ethiopia.
I spent forever in a plane and arrived 8 hours ago and slept. It was brutal travel but we are here and we are safe.
I woke up this morning at 4:40 to 20,000 dogs barking, roosters crowing, and the sound of men chanting with blow horns. It was at this moment I knew I wasn’t in Kansas anymore (not that I have ever been to Kansas). I woke up, and actually laughed and said to myself, “Yep, I am in Africa.” So now I am up and enjoying a beautiful morning.
I am now sitting outside looking at a beautiful garden, a sunny sky and a chicken. It’s a little chilly this morning, but it feels perfect……oh look at the goats walk by! (woops I got sidetracked).
We are leaving today for Debre Deitz and I look forward to starting this adventure. Blessings to you all my friends. Praise God for a little internet connection. Thanks again for the prayers!
Much Love,
Patricia
