To the monuments and beautiful structures you have preserved for us.

 Lisbon, you gave us a great day!  

We found a great place for a romantic picnic, even if we did have a few guests with wings to join us.  The birds and roosters were a bit too friendly…

But that was ok…because we laughed, and I got to be with him. Lisbon, after our great picnic, when went up the coastline, which reminded me of the Oregon coast.And just when we were totally jet-lagged, we ventured to Sintra and found a pastry shop with something sweet to eat and some coffee to help us stay awake to enjoy this amazing little gem of a place.

I loved our day so much. Thank you Lisbon and beyond, for being so beautiful.
