R&R with some Lions

I never got to talk about church last Sunday.  Honestly, church was very long (almost three hours), but what I enjoyed most was holding 16 hands at one time.  Also, the kids would check out my white skin and rub it and look at their hands to see if anything rubbed off.  Then they sniffed my arm….. that was a bit strange.

Ok….can you find me in this photo?

(HINT. I look similar to Waldo except in a female version)

Today we are going out on safari and taking a break.  Our group needs to process a bit and relax.  It’s been intense. I look forward to a fun day and hearing how our peeps will live differently.  I love my new friends.  I have loved helping Shaun lead this trip.  It’s such a privilege.

  1. honestly as a follower of every tweet, blog, pic, etc. I NEEDED this day off too. LOL no kidding. The emotional second hand journey has been nothing less than life changing. I am one life changed forever. I hope you all do a synopsis of some sort. A farewell tribute to Kenya. I am not sure if Compassion has an SOP but it would be nice for me as a follower of your entire week. Thank you for blessing me!
