Hey friends,

I just wanted to give you a little update.  I am traveling tomorrow to the Dominican Republic.  I will be trying to update the blog, but who knows how my portable internet will go.  Anyway, here is our team blog if you want to follow along as our teens share their experiences.   Julia, my oldest daughter was the writer today!  She wrote a great post on Expectations!  Anybody have those?  Here is the link.

Speaking of expectations, we went into serious prayer yesterday when our Dominican staff told us that some of our plans may need to be diverted due to Tropical  Storm Emily.  However, today we received word that the storm has not impacted them too much and that we are moving forward as planned.  Praise God!
