Monday Letters – From Kenya, Africa
Usually I post a letter to my girls on Mondays, but this week I received a beautiful letter from Hannah. Hannah is one of the girls we sponsor through Compassion.
My family was able to visit Hannah and her father in Kenya this last March and we had an amazing couple of days getting to know this beautiful, sweet Maasai girl.
I loved receiving this letter. It’s from a real child, whom I have met, and my family adores.
She wrote:
Hi Patricia,
How are you?
I am with my family. I hope you are fine plus your family. Receive my greetings together with my family.
Our country is very dry but we hope that God will give us rain. Our family is fine but our livestock must be moved to other areas because they are dying because of the drought.
I and my family love you and your family. So we are praying that God will bless you so much. I miss Julia, Isabel, Grace and Stephen. Patricia, when my father heard that you said that you were praying to God to allow you to come again to visit me and my parents, he was very happy.
Thank you, Patricia for your letter. I read it and it was very nice, thank you so much. How is your country? I miss Julia, Grace and Isabel so much.
Pass my greetings to Stephen, Grace, Isabel and Julia. Tell them that I love them so much. I am praying that you com to see me again. God will bless you with your family. Read Matthew 25:1-5.
By By Patricia.
Love,
Hannah

What an awesome letter. I hope to hear from one of my three boys this week, or maybe all of them!
