Heading out

I am heading out tomorrow to Ecuador! I’m excited to host a team of 27 women to visit Compassion in Ecuador and work at a Child Survival Program.  I love my job every day!

Steve is holding down the fort and I know he is going to rock his fatherhood job once again.  I am a little jealous that he often gets meals brought to him when I am gone so I would like the world to know that he is a far better cook than myself.  Possibly he gets the sympathy card though because he is the only male in the house, and he is living with a house of estrogen no doubt, which can’t be easy!!

I am so thankful we had some time together this last week to rest, read books, ski, and celebrate Easter. Here are a few of my favorite photos from this last week in the mountains because they show personalities perfectly. Love it!!

Julia – the wise one, with spunk, edge, maturity, brains and great spiritual depth.

Grace, the charming middle daughter with life, a sense of humor and the ability to laugh and make everyone else laugh!

And Isabel, the sweet, creative, shy girl with a head full of ideas and the heart to make them happen!
